Welcome to 1st Market Bosworth

Based in the heart of historical Market Bosworth and part of the Ashby & Coalville Scout District in Leicestershire, we are a thriving group providing fun and exciting scouting adventures every week to over 80 young people aged 6-14 from Market Bosworth and our surrounding villages.

The Scout Group was revitalised a few years ago by a group of fantastic Parent Helpers and Leaders to create a new and highly dedicated leadership team, who produce exciting and dynamic programmes for our young people of the area. We teach life skills as well as having plenty of fun along the way! Each section partakes in a fully organised and risk-assessed plan of regular meetings, camping trips and day activities.

Our Group has grown dramatically in all Sections over the last few years, which is attributed to the efforts and hard work of our Leadership team, fully supportive Trustee Board, Section Leaders, Assistants and Fundraising/Grants volunteers.
